Jamak supply history dates back to the 1970’s, we are a global organisation with HQ in Tx-USA.
Our European Division is based in Manchester – UK, from 1987 to 2005 we manufactured moulded & extruded silicone products in house. Silicone rubber raw material also was produced in house to support production requirements. During this period we were OEM suppliers to Ford, Rolls Royce, Electrolux, Hygena, Metala, Thorn Industries & Inalfa.
Commercial pressures prompted that in 2004 we re-strategised to operate with sourcing partners in low cost global locations.
Whilst the UK division continued to be based in Manchester – UK, we operated a GuangDong (Southern China) based JV manufacturing facility from 2005 through to 2016. According to product types & specifics, we now source all customer needs through (1) our previous JV partner organisation and (2) numerous other partner organisations whom we have long term collaborations with.
This overall principle remains sound business strategy. It has also enabled that the business can diversify to other elastomeric polymers & plastics.
